Before downloading the app, please make sure that the option “Install Unknown App” is enabled on your phone. To enable it, do the following:
- Go to “App settings” in your device settings
- Go to “Special app access”
- Click on “Install unknown apps”
- Now look for the browser through which you came to this website. For example – chrome, firefox, etc.
- Enable the option “Allow from this source”
- Once the above is done, click on “Download” button
- Click “Ok” on the following popup and the Alphonso Mobile Remote app will start auto-downloading
- Click on the downloaded file and click on “Install”
After installing the River OS Remote App, remember to turn off the “Install unknown apps” option again. Open the app and connect to your River OS-powered smart TV. Now, sit back and enjoy using your mobile as a remote!
Note – River Remote App is currently compatible with only Android supported smartphones
